The Central Lakes Trail is a beautiful stretch of rail-to-trails paved biking that runs from Fergus Falls to Osakis. The trail connects with trails on either side making it a part of a much bigger trail system. It is a scenic path combining open prairies, woods and lakes. That being said, once the gorgeous fall leaves have fallen and the snow coats the path, it becomes a connector to hundreds of miles of snowmobile paths in West-Central Minnesota. In Douglas County the snowmobile trails are managed by DATA Trails. You can also connect to miles of trails in Otter Tail County
The Central Lakes and Lake Wobegon Trails offer some of the best trail riding in the state of Minnesota and this is your chance to conquer both of them! This ride spans the length of both trails totaling 100 miles.
